Ford Escape/Kuga Fuse box diagrams – Full schemes for all generations

The Ford Kuga (known as Ford Escape in North America) has three main generations with different fuse layouts:

  • First generation (C394, 2008–2012) – shared platform with Escape/Mazda Tribute
  • Second generation (C520, 2013–2019) – global model with updated electronics
  • Third generation (CX482, 2020–present) – modern design with more advanced systems and hybrids

Fuse boxes are typically:

  • Passenger compartment (interior): Left side of dashboard (behind cover) or under glovebox/center console in newer models.
  • Engine compartment (power distribution box): Near the battery.

Some models have an additional rear fuse box (luggage compartment) for accessories. Always check your owner’s manual or fuse box lid for exact matches, as options (hybrid, diesel, AWD) add/remove fuses. Replace with same amperage to avoid damage.

Below are complete fuse tables for main generations (common circuits; full lists include spares/Not Used).

For hybrids/PHEV, additional high-voltage fuses are in a separate HV box – do not service without expertise.

Tips:

  • Relays are often integrated or in separate relay blocks (cooling fan, starter, PCM, etc.).
  • If a fuse blows repeatedly, investigate shorts or faulty components.
  • Use fuse puller (usually on cover) and test with multimeter.

These are standard full schemes. For exact year-specific or option-dependent fuses (e.g., adaptive cruise, 360 camera), refer to your owner’s manual or Ford service info.
